PIE and AI
Welcome to our deeplearning.ai Pie & AI meetup in Nairobi on March 21, 2020!
The even titled: Deploying AI: Machine Learning in Production blends in 2 Lab Practical Workshops and a High Level Engaging Panel Discussion geared towards exploring the best approaches and techniques to follow in developing and optimizing data science and machine learning workflows into production whilst building on agile practices to maximize development efficiency and delivery of significant value in production projects. We will also address complexity and data pipelines concerns in production environments, the art of visualizing and communicating results and how to make informed architectural decisions on storage, data transfer, computation and communication.
This Pie &AI meetup is hosted by Microsoft Student Partner Club: University of Nairobi and the Developer Students’ Club: University of Nairobi. Special thanks to their support! Come meet your fellow deep learners! We hope to see you for Pie & AI on 3/21!

- 09:35 am – 10:00 am: Welcoming Greeting Video Talk from Dr. Andrew Ng & the deeplearning.ai team.
- 10:00 am –11:30 am: Hands on Workshops: MLOps: Model Management, Deployment and Monitoring with Azure Machine Learning and Azure Internet of Things Workshop.
- 11:30 am –12:50 pm: Panel Discussion Session with Local Industry Experts on Machine Learning in Production
- 12:50 pm –01:00 pm: Light Refreshments, Networking and mingling with fellow deep learners!
