Program overview
Augmented Thinking is Ai Kenya’s signature masterclass series designed to help leaders and professionals navigate AI with clarity and control.
The series includes multiple masterclasses for various audiences, each building on the last:
Masterclass 1: Leading with Confidence in a Generative AI World This is the foundational program for senior leaders and working professionals. It covers AI fundamentals, strategic use cases, and governance frameworks. This is the program detailed on this page.
Masterclass 2: Prompt Engineering for Businesses This program goes deeper into how to communicate effectively with AI tools to get consistent, high quality results. It is designed for professionals who have completed Masterclass 1, or already have some experience working with generative AI tools, and want to sharpen their practical skills. Details coming soon.
Future Masterclasses Additional programs covering advanced topics such as AI strategy execution, sector specific applications, and organizational AI maturity are in development. Participants who complete earlier masterclasses will be first to access new programs as they launch.
Each masterclass runs for at least four hours and is highly interactive with toolkits and resources shared to all participants. Participants engage with real demonstrations, guided discussions, and practical frameworks they can apply immediately.
What will you learn?
Participants in Masterclass 1: Leading with Confidence in a Generative AI World will learn how to:
- Understand what AI and generative AI actually are and how they differ from previous technologies.
- Identify practical, low risk use cases relevant to their specific departments and workflows.
- Evaluate AI tools, vendors, and internal readiness without relying on hype or guesswork.
- Recognize the risks of AI adoption, including bias, hallucination, compliance gaps, and data exposure.
- Build internal policies and frameworks for responsible AI use across teams.
- Design a realistic AI roadmap aligned to organizational priorities and capacity.
- Communicate AI strategy to boards, teams, and stakeholders with clarity.
Training Modules
Masterclass 1 is structured around three core modules delivered across four hours with two breaks.
Module 1: Gen AI fundamentals and Business driven use cases An introduction to AI and generative AI, with live demonstrations and real use cases across departments including finance, HR, operations, marketing, and customer service.
Module 2: Strategic AI integration for functional Teams How to identify workflow pain points, map them to AI solutions, and evaluate tools based on capacity, process fit, and value creation.
Module 3: AI Governance, risk Management, and responsible Adoption Understanding the risks of AI adoption and how to build internal policies, accountability structures, and an AI maturity roadmap.
Who should attend
Masterclass 1 is structured around three core modules delivered across four hours with two breaks. This program is designed for leaders and professionals responsible for driving performance, transformation, and decision making within their organizations.
Ideal participants include:
- Senior executives, C suite leaders, Board Members

This masterclass is designed for a general leadership and working professional audience. It does not require a technical background. If you are comfortable engaging in strategic conversations about change, efficiency, and growth, this program is for you.
This program is not designed for software engineers or data scientists seeking technical AI development skills. Future specific technical masterclasses for such audiences are in development and will be announced.
Minimum requirements
To get the most out of this masterclass, participants should meet the following requirements:
- Professional experience At least 1 years of work experience in any sector. This program is designed for professionals who are already navigating organizational decision making and team dynamics.
- Role scope Participants should hold or be transitioning into roles involving leadership, management, strategy, or cross functional coordination.
- Basic digital literacy Comfort using everyday digital tools such as email, documents, spreadsheets, and video conferencing. No coding or technical skills required.
- Willingness to engage This is an interactive program. Participants should be ready to ask questions, share perspectives, and apply concepts to their own work context.

FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions) for Augmented Thinking AI Masterclass
Can my organization pay for me?
Yes. Many participants are sponsored by their employers. You can register and request an invoice to share with your organization for payment processing.
Is this program (Masterclass 1) technical?
No. This program( Masterclass 1) is designed for leaders and professionals who want to understand and govern AI strategically. It does not require coding or technical skills.
Is there a discount for groups?
For organizations sending five or more participants, contact us at grow@kenya.ai to discuss group arrangements.
What if I register but cannot attend?
If you are unable to attend your registered cohort, notify us at least five days in advance and we will transfer your registration to the next available cohort at no additional cost.
Will I receive materials after the session?
Yes. All participants receive a digital resource pack after the training, including key frameworks and reference materials.
Do you offer in house training for organizations?
Yes. We deliver customized versions of this masterclass for management teams, associations, and sector groups. Contact grow@kenya.ai to discuss your requirements.
What comes after Masterclass 1?
Participants who complete Masterclass 1 can proceed to Masterclass 2: Prompt Engineering for Businesses. Additional masterclasses are in development and will be announced to past participants first and also shared on this website
